Bring Tired Paint Back to Life
The full restoration — interior, exterior, clay bar, polish and wax. This is the deepest work we do, and we do it in your driveway.
What Paint Correction Actually Means
Most of what makes older paint look dull is thousands of fine scratches worn into the clear coat over years of washing, weather and road grit, rather than dirt sitting on top of it. Light hits all those tiny edges and scatters instead of reflecting cleanly, so the color reads flat and cloudy even right after a wash.
Correction works on that surface directly. We hand wash the vehicle, pull the embedded contaminants out of the clear coat with a clay bar, then polish the paint to level out the fine scratching. Once the paint is where we can get it, we lay wax over the top so the finish has some protection going forward. The interior gets cleaned in the same visit.
How much of that scratching comes out depends entirely on the paint we are working with. Some panels clean up beautifully and some carry damage that has gone too deep to polish out safely. We will tell you honestly what we think we can get before any work starts, so nothing about the result is a surprise.

When a Lighter Package Makes More Sense
If your paint is already in decent shape and you mainly want it cleaned up and protected, correction is more than you need. Wax & Paint Protection is the lighter option, and it is priced by vehicle size rather than by condition.
Everything in the Basic Detail, finished with a wax coat that protects your paint.
Why the Price Is a Range
$400 – $1,200
Our other packages are priced by vehicle size, because the work is roughly the same on every car of that size. Correction is different, because the hours are driven by the condition of the paint rather than the size of the panel. Two vehicles that look similar sitting side by side in a parking lot can land at opposite ends of that range.
A newer car with light swirling takes a fraction of the work that a neglected one with years of oxidation takes. That is why we look at the vehicle before we commit to a number, then confirm the price with you before anything starts.
Prices may increase depending on the condition of the vehicle.
Travel
A travel fee of $1.25 per mile applies past 30 miles from our base.
Payment
We take Cash (preferred) and Venmo.
Paint Correction FAQ
How is this different from the wax package?
The wax package is the Basic Detail with a protective wax coat over the paint. Paint correction adds the clay bar and the polishing step before that wax goes on, which is the part that works on the swirls and haze already in the clear coat.
Will it get every scratch out?
Polishing works within the clear coat, so the fine scratching and swirl marks are what respond to it. Anything deep enough to catch your fingernail has usually gone past the clear coat and cannot be polished out safely. We will look at your paint and tell you what we expect before we start.
Why can't you quote me an exact price over the phone?
Because the price follows the condition of the paint, and we cannot judge that from a description. Send us your vehicle details through the contact form and we will get you a number.
Does this cover the inside of the vehicle too?
Yes. Full Paint Correction covers interior and exterior, and the interior work matches the Basic Detail, so vacuuming, a total interior wipe down, windows and door jambs. A deep shampoo of the seats and carpets is a separate add-on you can see on the pricing page.
Do I need to bring the vehicle anywhere?
No. We are mobile across Tri-Cities, TN, so we come to your home or wherever the vehicle is parked.
